AHA Heart Walk

Here is our HERO and his big brother

The day was picture perfect. The weather was ideal and even though we were slim on team members and slim on the donations it always makes me so emotional to walk in the heart walk. I get all sentimental, I suppose it is because the walk is the first event we did after Trevor’s diagnosis and first operation.  I look at it like this, a meisly little 5k walk is a very small sacrifice compared to what Trevor has been through.  No matter where we focus our fundraising efforts we will always walk in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk.
