There is a wonderful drug they have that prevents nausea due to anesthesia ….have they ever mentioned it to you? I have to ask for it every time I have surgery (3 times) or the docs don’t remember it, but it works great and I am almost certain that children can tolerate it. If you’re stressed when reading this don’t bother to answer. I’ll talk to you later about it.I’ll ask my daughter if children can have it. It starts with a P. Can’t remember the name.

Poor little guy. I hated hospitals as a child. Was in one for six months myself as a little one.

I was inspired and was encourage and not losing hope by the story of Trevor. I’m a father of a 6 months old baby who has the same heart defect of Trevor, his heart defect is truncus arteriosus type IV, lately discovered after 2 months when he was diagnosed to pneumonia and difficulities in breathing and confined for 15 days in ICU and we almost lost him twice in the hospital, but miraculously he fight to survive, he is truly a survivor, after his confinement the doctor recommends heart surgery as soon as possible, unluckily he’s not operated yet due to financial problems which as a parents dont have enough resources to send him for operation. It’s like every month he will be sent to Hospital due to his weak immune system.

In our country the Philippines it cost us a lot the operation probably around half a million in peso. It’s why as parents who dont have resources we are trying to reach any international organizations until now we are parents who keep searching and hoping someday the Lord Jesus will use someone to help us save our baby. One of his doctor said that hope we can find a help somewhere a country with best doctors who will help since his disease is a rare type and no gurantee if he will be operated he will leave and be with us. Please include us in your prayers and someday will find one for our baby’s heart surgery. We appreciate much also if your group can recommend one for a charity.
