I remember William’s first soccer practice. This past season, he played flag football. When there were days you thought your child would never get to do such things, watching them play is such a fantastic day! Congratulations, Trevor!

Just wanted to say hi and welcome to Austin. I came across your blog while searching for other blogs about Truncus. My daughter was also born with Truncus Arteriosus, she is now 18 months old. Glad Trevor’s measurements are good, praying for a determination on what is going on with the other issues.

Hello, I first saw Trevor’s story on youtube then came here. I’m a CHD survivor as well, now nearly 18 and living a normal life. It makes me cry with mixed emotions whenever I hear about another CHD child, on the 1 hand it’s nice to know that there are others out there and on the other it is something that having put my family through it, I would never wish on anyone. It also forces me to look back at the long road. Above all I’m glad that more kids make it and live normally now than ever before. I do the walk every single year because I can and because I couldn’t live with myself if I skipped it. When I was younger my family was involved in the children’s heart foundation near us and through that I met another CHD close to my age who became one of my closest friends. I just thought I’d comment and say hi. you are all in my prayers

Happy Birthday, Trevor! Gave me chills reading his birth story, almost sounded just like Audrina’s (not tolerating labor, emergency c-section, finding out a couple days later about the TA).Bless our heart babies!

Hello-

I am a father of a four year old son who was born with a CHD. I am in the midst of collecting email addresses of other parents of children with congenital heart defects. The purpose is to send out a professional survey to these parents via email. The survey will ask questions about their hospital stay, experience, etc.

I am hoping that you could forward my email (jaredbroussard15@gmail.com) to anyone who may be interested in participating. They can simply email me to let me know of their interest. The survey will be sent out in about a month.
